When I am dead, my dearest,
Sing no sad songs for me;

Emotion Ticket Author: Daniel Balanescu The aim of the project is to display a collective portrait of today’s society, taking as sample people who travel by metro. In the metro,one may come across people of extreme social condition, people who make the first steps in life or are very old and carry lifetime memories with them;highly educated and non-educated people. The idea of this project came to my mind in 1995. The idea was to attract travelers into a game whose basic element was the metro ticket(used) on which they are invited to leave their print by drawing or writing something: a thought, an impression or perhaps a shopping list or a business card. Art may take away the stress or boredom of waiting for the next train. The idea is to display all tickets into a collage that maybe exhibited in different metro stations in different parts of the world.

The Proclamation of Timişoara was a thirteen-point written document, drafted on March 11, 1990 by the Timişoara participants in Romania's 1989 Revolution, and partly issued in reaction to the first Mineriad. Organized as the Timişoara Society and other bodies of students and workers, the signers expressed liberal-democratic goals,^[1] which they saw as representing the revolutionary legacy.^[2] The best-known requirement formed the document's 8th Point, calling for all former Romanian Communist Party nomenklatura and Securitate cadres to be banned from holding public office for a period of 10 years (or three consecutive legislatures), with an emphasis on the office of President (see Lustration).^[3] Questioning the status of the governing National Salvation Front, the Proclamation argued that the latter primarily represented a small group of Communist dissidents who had opposed Nicolae Ceauşescu's authoritarian regime and had subsequently monopolized power.^[4] These requirements replicated the earlier manifesto authored in Bucharest by philosopher Gabriel Liiceanu (Apel către lichele, the "Appeal to the Scoundrels").^[5]

Over the following period, the document was recognized and advocated by hundreds of civic associations, while almost 4 million citizens signed appeals in favor of incorporating the 8th Point into electoral law.^[4] The latter was also one of the main requests of the Bucharest Golaniad (which was violently repressed during the third Mineriad in June of the same year).^[4]

Metro Tickets Project/ Underground Art

Metro Project/ Underground Art (provisional titles)

Potential Parteners: Metrorex,
The aim is scan a picture of today’s society using as a sample the thoughts and feelings of people who travel by metro.
The idea is to involve the passengers in a game with used metro cards by asking them to draw or write something on them, anything that crosses their mind.
I believe that this will turn a boring waiting for the next train into creative thinking.
Everyone will win!
All the cards will be eventually displayed in metro stations (collage) and possibly in other public places such as contemporary arts museums. Their input will become a small piece of history!
The cards will be collected in boxes planted in each metro station for one month after launch.
The metro stations will become fun as they will be not just decorated but decorated by the people that use them! And, Gosh, I bet on diversity!
When will the project start?
As soon as Metrorex, the key partner will say yes to it!
